Cameras

Mr. T has been showing some interest in cameras so last week we were on the hunt for some disposable cameras.  After searching a few stores we found some at Walgreen's and I purchased one for him and one for his sister.  They have had a blast taking pictures and learning how to use them and the flash!  The best part of all of this will be when we develop them and we can see the pictures that they took.  I am sure there will be tons of their stuffed animals, baby dolls, cars and baby Rosie.

New Camera

I finally went out and bought the camera I have been wanting for quite some time.  I am loving it!!  Below are some of the pics I took on our first night out with it.  I obviously have a lot to learn about the camera, etc.... but I am very happy with the new purchase.

Baby D Pics

I love the smell of a new born baby when you bring them home.  They are so fresh and clean.  Their skin is so soft, well for a few days.  Then the dry Utah air hits it and it turns red and blotchy, and and sometime a little baby acne is there too.  She is still cute though and we couldn't resist taking some pics in her little beanie and booties in black and white.

I forgot how small babies are when you bring them home.  They are tiny, and T seems like a giant now.  T use to be our baby, but not any more.  They are just growing up too fast!  Another thing is the diapers. Their diapers are so small but they grow out of them so fast!  Please slow down so we can enjoy everyday!

Instagram Photo a Day Challenge

So I am avid Instagram user, and if you aren't, then you are missing out.  It's a great app, try it, you will not be disappointed.  This month there is a challenge thing going on where you post a picture everyday of something.  Then you tag the photo in Instagram by #febphotoaday so others can see what you view that specific day as.

Here is the picture with what the daily pic should be of:

So for each cay of the month you post a picture that describes what it says.  So for my view today (on the 1st) I posted a pic of mt current view, which was at work, working on the month end reports.  Get it?  So below are some more of my pics from the first week, enjoy them! I think I will post this every week so you can see them all.

Family Pics

Well, we did it!  We actually took family pics the other evening and they turned out really well.  We had a good friend, Caroline Lignell (Carol) take them for us, and she was great!  She was really good with Baby T too.  Baby T found some rocks after the first couple shots and refused to put them down for the rest of the pics, ha!  He would.  His little blonde wings look so funny though, he is a stud and she still captured some good moments.

We had been practicing smiling with baby T all week so he would be ready, but those dang rocks just took over, ha!  I think she still got some good shots that we can use though.  Here are some of them.  Probably too many, but it's hard to decide....you now how it is.........

If you want to get your pictures taken, then contact Carol, she is awesome!  Email her at canocaroline@yahoo.com or check out her FB page.

fall running

i love running in the fall.  the air is cool and crisp and i seem to be able to run that much longer.  turner and i went out after work yesterday and got 4.5 miles in.  not bad considering i haven't been running in almost 10 days!  the leaves are changing colors in our neighborhood and they look amazing!

it makes me miss the tree lined streets back home in the sugarhouse area.  they are huge and drop so many leaves.  at least we don't have to rake them this year.

so here's to the fall and fresh crisp air.  go out and enjoy it too!
