In the midst of all the chaos in our lives this past few months, we somehow managed to get into our new house and get this kiddos signed up and registered in their new schools all within a very short time frame. Mr. T started school the same day we closed on the house and moved into our house.
We have some awesome friends who let us stay with them and invade their lives for far too many weeks, but it all seemed to work out. Throughout all of this chaos, we failed to take a good picture of Mr. T going to school, but since D started a week later than him, she posed and the wifey got a couple good pics of her. T is in 1st grade and D is in her second year of preschool. Things seem to be falling into place here in CA and we are all slowly getting situated into our new lives here.
Here's to another successful school year!

Pink Hair
Toddler D has been asking to have pink hair for a few weeks now. After some thought and consideration the wifey made it happen! Darla was so pleased with how it turned out. It was just a temporary dye so it literally washed all the way within a few days. Between swimming in the lake, the chlorine from the pool and maybe a normal bath it was the prefect amount of time for her to have pink hair. Just look how pleased she is with the final results.

Back to School
Mr. T has started kindergarten this year. He rides the bus to and from school and seems so grown up now. D has started preschool and is loving her time away for 2 days a week. I can't believe that the kiddos are already entering into these stages. It has gone by so fast and going to school will be a huge part of their lives for so many years to come. I mean, I am 33 and still in school. Last semester though, December can't come soon enough! I am going to soak up these days and enjoy getting up with the kiddos to get them ready for school, dropped off at the bus stop and so much more!

Lock On Tacoma
We found another cool art exhibit downtown in the Dome District called Lock-On Tacoma. We went and checked it out earlier this week. There are tons of locks on display underneath the train track. The kiddos loved seeing all of the different colors and designs that were on all of the locks. And Mr. T loved that there were T's on all of the big locks, they were all for him, of course.

These Guys
These two older siblings are best friends, but they still have their moments when they choose not to share. It's nice when we can get out and about and explore together. There are plenty of rocks, sticks and trees to go around when we are out and about exploring the trails around us. We had a fun evening doing some hiking and and then ended up at the park where the kiddos played for quite some time. I hope they remember these little adventures when they are older.

Friday Night
We spent the evening hiking around Titlow last Friday night and ended up playing on the beach and at the park. The trees are all so green, even with the lack of rain this year. The kiddos raced each other and we had a great time.
