Dads and Donuts

Little Rosie invited me to her dads and donuts day at her preschool last week.  It was a great way to spend some time with her.  We got to do some crafts together, play some games, see her school, her artwork, her toys, and of course eat donuts and other yummy snacks together!  It was a fun morning and Rosie was so pleased!  She even made me a tie, a mouse pad and some other cool stuff!

Rosie turns 3

While we were in Reno, we celebrated Rosie's birthday one night with dancing, presents and her pink birthday cake with lots of sprinkles.  Rosie is the sweetest little girl and we are so glad she is our little baby!  She was pleased with the party and was happy to have her cousins and grandparents there as well.  She did get a little nervous when everyone was singing to her, she normally does not like all of the attention, even though she deserves it!

First Day of Preschool

Little Rosie started school this week!  She is going to preschool a few morning each week.  What is the wifey going to do with all 3 kiddos in school now?  Ha!  Probably enjoy it!  She was excited to wear her back pack and go to school like the big kiddos do. She is a little young for her age but we are hoping she will do well and enjoy her little preschool class.  Here's to growing up!

Toddler Ballet Class

Little Rosie started her first ballet class last week and she was beyond thrilled.  She has a couple little friends in the class with her and she loved getting dressed, pulling her hair up in a bun and then following the teachers instructions.  This might be the beginning of many years of dance lessons......

Happy Birthday Rosie

Little Rosie turned 2 just before Thanksgiving.  We had a little party for her while our family was in town as well.  She was pleased to have cake and open a few presents to celebrate.  Rosie is super tall and loves to do anything her older brother and sister are doing.  She still loves her binky, bottle and blanky (only when she is sleeping though!).  She is starting to talk more and loves to paint her nails, wear lipstick, make up and try on many and most accessories as well.
She is a joy to have around and thinks she is pretty funny and cute at dinner time.  She is a busy body and tries to keep up with her older siblings.  Yet loves to read books, ride her tricycle and scooter and be involved in anything and everything.  Happy Birthday Rosie Vela!

Baby R Turns 1

Little R turned one this weekend.  This year has flown by.  Last year, we were thinking she would come right on Thanksgiving Day, but she arrived a few days earlier.  We had a simple quiet meal at home and it was perfect.

Rosie at 5 1/2 Months

Baby R is almost 6 months old!  She is smiling all the time and she makes all sorts of noises.  She is just starting to sit up on her own and is slowly getting more stable.  She loves to roll all over the floor and put anything and everything in her mouth.  She does not have any teeth yet but probably will soon.  We pulled out the dusty exersaucer and high chair from the shed earlier this week too and we started buying baby food for her as well.  She loves all the attention she gets from her older siblings and everyone else.  She is getting a little chunky and loves to eat!  She has a little bit of hair that is growing in and her eyes are blue as can be.  Overall, she is a happy baby and we love having her in our family.  The days are flying by and she grows so fast.

Pink Dresses

Our good friends surprised the girl's with these dresses the other day.  Darla was happy as can be.  This dress just screams Darla and when she puts it on she has a new level of confidence and attitude that comes with it.  They sure do look cute though!

Girls

Baby R really is a good baby.  She is so happy and loves to smile, and loves all the attention she gets from her older siblings.  Our friends gave the two girls matching pink dresses and when they put them on they think they own the world, ha!  They sure are cute.

Baby Rosie

I can't believe how fast baby R is growing up.  She is holding her head up so good and rolls over occasionally from her tummy to her back.  She loves to smile and make baby noises and she gets so much attention from her older siblings.  These pictures just crack me up, especially the ones where her eyes are closed.  We love baby Rosie!
