Weekend Trip

Nat and Richie were moving from San Fran to Mountain View this weekend so the older kiddos and I took off and spent the day in the city and the bay helping them move and unpack.  We also had Richard in town to pick up the last of his items since he moved down south to LA.  Another fun weekend has come and gone.

Farewell PNW

Well it's official!  We are residents of the state of California!  We now own a home and are getting settled in.  It feels great to finally have the family all back together under the same roof where we can get started on this next chapter in our lives.  Mr. T started school the same day that moved into our house last week.  It was a crazy week, but we are getting settled into our new home and looking forward to creating many memories here.  To say farewell to our 4 years in the PNW, I thought I would post some pictures of our time in WA and OR.  We sure will miss it there, but are excited for the future!

Starting Over

Moving has its perks, but it can also be difficult.  No matter how great the move is, there is a time period where the change can be difficult.  If takes time to get back in a new routine, in a new house.  You have to find a new preschool, get adjusted to your new church and the members there and so much more.
Since we have been here, we have been trying to find all of the new parks, get back into some type of routine and just get settled into our new house.
Whatever the case may be, it is a change, and I like change.

The weekend move

We had a crazy weekend with moving and unpacking boxes, getting organized, etc...... we still managed to play a little bit.  Grandma Mary was in town to help too so we had a couple fun dinners and the kids played and played nonstop.
I also had some high school friends come visit on Saturday night too.  We all ate Thai food and the kiddos played and played all night.  It was an overall great weekend.

We Moved......Again!

Yes, you read that right.  We packed up our house last week and made the trek about 28 minutes closer to my work.  That means I have a 2-3 minute commute instead of a 30 minute commute.  It's pretty awesome, I'm not gonna lie.  Between the commute and me being back in school again we decided that it would be better to eliminate my time on the road so I could spend more quality time with the family and with my studies.  So we found a nice 4 bedroom home just a couple miles from Chambers Bay and we moved last week.  We were sad to leave Lacey, our ward there and our friends there, but in the long run this just seems like a better move for the family.
So here's to a new start, in a new house in a new city!  I like change, don't you?

Mom's Away, so we will Play

The wifey flew down to Utah last weekend for a quick trip so it was just me and the kiddies.  We had a fun time playing and packing.  That's right we are moving......again! We had a fun weekend prepping and playing for this busy week ahead of us.

Reunited at Last

The family is here and we are all reunited again!  The wifey + kids drove up from Reno with the in-laws, and they stayed for a few days to help us unload our pod/trailer thing and help us get settled into our new home.  It was so nice to have the help, and it was even better to have all of us under the same roof again.  The kiddos were beyond excited for the new house, and I think we are going to really like it here.  Our neighborhood is awesome!  We met a few neighbors, visited the park in the rain, and even went to our new ward.

Somehow, we end up picking great areas, that are extremely close to all the stores, church, freeway and water access.  I like it.  Things are going to be good here, I can tell.  Of course, the day that they get here the sun goes away and the rain starts to fall.
