Packing and More

We have officially started to pack up our house.  It is a process, a long process.  We started a few days ago and figure we will just do a little bit everyday until it has to be done.  We have the trailer/pod thing coming next week and we have 3 days to load it up and pack up all of our earthly belongings into 23 feet of space!  Can you believe it?  It will then be moved to Washington and stored for about 6 weeks.  I will do some new job training in Portland, OR and hopefully find a new place that we can call home in our new state of WA. 

Lots of changes around here.

We are still under contact to sell the house too, which is such a blessing.  The whole process takes forever and you never really know until closing day. The buyers have done the home inspection, appraisal, etc..... and everything looks good for closong.  It looks like we will close sometime after Labor Day.  I am just glad that we have a buyer and don't have to worry about renters, paying 2 mortgages, etc......  It will be a little sad to leave our first home though.  We have had some good memories here. 

In other news, baby D is starting to crawl and she has her first tooth coming in on the bottom.  She is drooling all over the place (like usual) and she will be on the move any day now.  She is loving the baby food and we are teaching her how to hold her own bottle and to feed herself, ha!

Toddler T is spending as much time as he can with his cousins and friends before we move.  I think he understands more about the move and all that.  It's nice to move when the kids are this little because they can't be that sad about moving, ha!  Plus change is good and it keeps things interesting and busy, and that is what I am all about.

turner took his first steps today.  apparently he felt like walking today, maybe because it is the weekend, ha!  so awesome!!

in the notes section on my phone i occasionally write down a quick thought or suggestion just for fun.  i thought i would share a few of them that still make me smile or laugh, something probably happened right before i put it down that made me happy, more motivated, upset, to laugh, etc.....  i guess you could say there is a story with each one.

In other news, baby Turner is officially 11 months old.  Can you believe it?  He is going to be 1 next month!  The time has flown by and we have loved every minute of it. 

He has 8 teeth now (4 on top, 4 on bottom) and loves to bite everything.  He loves his milk (vitamin D) and eats pretty much everything and anything.  He can stand on his own and has taken 1, maybe 2 steps.    He will walk when he is ready.  He seriously moves non stop and loves to be doing something.  He can do all sorts of tricks and talks jibberish all the time.  He claps, shakes his head like a mad man, climbs on everything, loves to tug on your hair, bite your clothes, etc......etc......He is awesome!!

10 months

today is friday the 13th!  ahhhhhh......and it is also turner's 10 month old celebration.  yes, he is already 10 months, can you believe it?!  some days we can't.  he sure is fun to have around though and he is learning new things everyday, it's awesome. 

he is crawling all over the place now and he pulls himself up on everything and moves around on the edges of all the furniture.  he has 4 teeth on the bottom and just yesterday his top teeth started bursting through his gums. 

he loves to be outside and he loves animals, especially dogs.  seriously, if we see a dog, he has to go over and pet it, or at least just sit by it.  he is obsessed with them.  he has started to take a bottle before going to bed and surprisingly loves it.  i guess his next step will be walking, all in time though.

life is good

life is good, we can't complain.  turner is growing up way too fast.  he is crawling like a mad man and pulling himself up on anything and everything.  he wants to walk be a big boy.  he loves to play with the other kids and we learned that he loves dogs!  he lets them lick his face and he just smiles and laughs, ha!

these pics are random, but are his life lately.  cruising in the jeep with spencer and riding all of the fun rides at chuck-e-cheese with his cousins.

life is busy, but life is good.  we are packing up and moving away soon.  more updates to come soon. 

reno

nat and turner went to reno with teresa and all of the kiddies. 

they went to chuck-e-cheese, on bike rides, to the park,

on a train ride, to the truckee river, shopping, etc......and more

turner even learned how to scoot around better.

crawl already

now that turner is officially 7 months old, he holds his head up really well, he rolls all over the place and is getting quicker by the day.  he always positions himself in the position to crawl, but usually ends up moving backwards instead of forwards.  he gets his bum high up in the air too, and puts a lot of pressure on his legs, ha!

he also goes in circles and makes lots of fast motions, kind of like this baby here. 

we are just enjoying the time while he stays in a small area of the house and he can't get around to make a mess everywhere.

maybe we will practice these steps here to push him along though.  and there are toys that you can buy that will  help a baby crawl, i don't know about that one.
