Happy Birthday Wifey!

We celebrated Natalie this weekend with gifts, a Costa Vida dinner, sodas, and donuts with friends visiting from out of town.  What a fun celebration!

Happy Birthday Wifey Dear

The wifey celebrated a birthday this week.  She got her favorite chocolate cake from Costco, gifts from the kiddos, dinner at Olive Garden and shopping at Nordstrom Rack!  A perfect day to celebrate a wonderful wifey and mom. 

Wifey Turns 30!

Since I am 5 years older than my wife, I have heard a lot of jokes over the years about our age difference.  I have been known as the old man in his thirties for years and finally the wifey has entered her thirties and we are back in the same age category....ha ha ha!  We had a great day celebrating with our family which included dinner, donuts, candy and soda!

Hiking iPhone Pics

I actually used my real camera on our hike to Lake Clementine last week, but I still snapped a few pics with the iphone as well.  It's just so easy and accessible.  So here are those photos as well.

Lake Clementine

The kiddos spent some time at their grandparents last weekend, so the wifey and I had a nice relaxing quiet weekend. We were able to sleep in a little, do some yard work and we event squeezed in a great hike to Lake Clementine as well.  We hiked just over 2+ miles to the dam to see the waterfall and the views of the lake.  We hiked back down and ended up having lunch on the river and jumping in for a quick swim.  It felt great to catch up on some sleep and get re-energized for life as a parent.

Pink Hair

Toddler D has been asking to have pink hair for a few weeks now.  After some thought and consideration the wifey made it happen!  Darla was so pleased with how it turned out.  It was just a temporary dye so it literally washed all the way within a few days.  Between swimming in the lake, the chlorine from the pool and maybe a normal bath it was the prefect amount of time for her to have pink hair.  Just look how pleased she is with the final results.
