Good times and the bad times

I have seen quite a few people posting articles about people making their lives seem perfect on their Facebook news feed, Instagram feed, twitter, etc... Blah blah blah. We get it! Yes the Internet makes you come across that way, people post things that they are proud of or things that make them happy. Why would we post things that are sad and depressing?! Yes we all have issues and trials but maybe these people feel better by posting the good things. Ya know?

Either way, I post about the good stuff and the not so good. For example, take toddler T. The other night he threw a fit, there he was crying, kicking ad screaming on the floor because we told him he had to go to bed in a few minutes. Keep In mind it was already past his somewhat normal bedtime.
I let him have his moment on the floor while I cleaned up the kitchen, then picked him up and took him upstairs to get ready for bed. Oh, and I snapped a pic of his screaming and posted it in Instagram, obviously.

Here's to the good times and bad times as a parent. 

What a Scam!

Since lil Polly died a couple weeks ago, we are on the hunt for another new (used) car.  I browse a few sites everyday and look for something that will work for us.  I am quickly learning which ads are total scams and which ones are for real. 

It's funny how when you go to email the seller they have a big red warning that says is the ad seems to good to be true then it is probably a scam, ha!  I love it!  Do people really fall for this stuff and send money to some random person through pay pal and expect to get a new car 5 days later?!  Seriously....it's sad.

Just to prove this point, here is an email that I got back from one of these scammers:

"I'm glad to see your inquiry about my car. It is a Immaculate 2003 Honda Civic with only 87,200 original miles.


The car is in EXCELLENT condition the body and paint are immaculate, no scratches and no dents the interior is clean it has never been involved in any kind of accident.The title is clear under my name.I'm the first owner.

I am selling at this price because I have recently moved to Greece. I was hoping to take my car here but when I found out how much shipping and registration would be I've changed my mind. As I'm unable to travel in the near future and I don't have anyone in United States to help me with the sale I've decided to make this transaction through Google Checkout Protection Program (they are acting like a third party in our deal). Which means that the payment will be handled by Google Checkout and you will benefit of the 5 days inspection time period and the option to accept or reject the car on my expense. I can send you more details about how exactly the Google Checkout Protection Program works, but please get back to me asap if you have cash money and if you are ready to buy."
 
Or what about this one:
 
"Hi,I have a low price on my 2005 Honda Accord EX because I want to sell the car very quickly. The price is low and includes delivery to your home address.

The car is in perfect condition, no electric problems, no accidents/liens/loans. No scratches, never been repainted. I have all the car manuals, title,documents. I'm selling this car because my child of only 19 died 4 months ago in a car accident,a drunk driver hit him and his fiancee. He was with his fiance's car coming to our home at his little brother birthday of 10 years old. The car belonged to my son and it brings me bad memories and that's the reason I want to sell it. The last price is..... Me and my husband travel a lot with our business and we want to make this deal through eBay's Buyer Protection Program.I just need your full name,full shipping address, home/cell # so I can open a case.(with no further obligation or fees).eBay will contact you with all the Transaction/shipping details you will need.We will take care of the shipping so don't worry."
 
These are just funny to me now and I replied to one of them pretty much calling them out and I got not reply.  Weird, huh?  I am sure we will find out new car soon enough.  I have hope that there are real sellers out there.
