A couple days after Christmas, the wifey's little brother Scott was married in the Reno, NV LDS Temple to Shannon. The sun was shining that day, and it wasn't too cold. The kids on the other hand were not so nice. We had the temple sealing, pictures, a luncheon and then the reception that night. It was great to see some of the family that was in town from Utah and Colorado too.
Congrats to Scott and Shannon, the newlyweds.

Christmas in Reno
We flew down to Reno on Christmas Eve and spend a week in Reno celebrating Christmas, New Year's and a family wedding. We had a great time. Christmas Eve was fun because Tommy was released from the hospital after his surgery. We were all glad to have him home. We had a great Christmas Eve celebration with all of the Challis Family and then Christmas morning was great! The kiddos were pleased with all of their train presents. We had so many bags flying to Reno, it was a joke. I think we will have some of it shipped back, ha.
We had a great Christmas and I hope you did too. Below are some of the pictures.

Weekend
A couple weekends ago, we enjoyed the nice weather, the sunsets and sunrises and had a fun time exploring a little bit more of our city. Since we were going out of town for the holidays, the kiddos got to open a couple of their presents early from their Shields grandparents. They were pleased as could be with their presents.
We had a great time celebrating Christmas, New Year's and a family wedding over the break. Lots of posts coming soon, so stay tuned!

Happy Birthday Wifey Dear
We celebrated the wife's birthday over the weekend. We had Cronuts/donuts instead of a cake and they were delicious! That night we got a babysitter and the wifey and I enjoyed a yummy and very quiet meal in a nice restaurant downtown. It was perfect. It's always funny how when we aren't with the kids, they somehow come up and are the center of conversation for the majority of the conversation, ha. Those kiddos. It was a great day and we are so glad to have Nattie Kay in our lives! Happy Birthday Wifey Dear!

Music Monday - Mariah Carey & Jimmy Fallon - All I Want for Christmas is You
Jimmy Fallon is pure comedy and Mariah Carey, is well Mariah Carey. Her Christmas song is a huge hit and this version is pretty great.
Enjoy! Merry Christmas!
Christmas at the Capitol
We headed downtown last weekend to explore the Capitol. Some friends in our ward said they had a cool tree there, so we went to see. It was a big tree with huge Disney ornaments. The kiddos loved it and we had fun exploring our city just a little bit more.
