Summer and Scooters

The weather has been amazing these last few weeks and it really feels like summer already!  We have been out and about almost everyday and with that comes scooters!  Mr. T has been riding his for a couple years now and toddler D wants to do everything he does.  So we finally picked her up a new Cinderella scooter from Target.  She picked it out on her own and was please as can be.  She also picked a pink Minnie Mouse helmet.  She is apparently obsessed with Disney.
The kiddos are scoot scooting all around the house, the street and pretty much wherever there is sidewalk.  It's pretty fun though.  We had a blast down at Chambers Bay the other night, just enjoying the fresh air, light wind and scenic views.

Scooter rides are in full swing these days with the warmer weather.  We still need to get him a helmet.  Maybe the Easter bunny will bring him one with his basket in a couple weeks.  Our neighborhood has some hills and he gets a little nervous going down them and I usually have to help him out.  He will get it soon enough.  I really want to get him a little bike this summer with training wheels.  In fact, last night I put him on one at the Smith's Marketplace and pushed him around the aisles there.  He liked it.
