Early Morning Trail Run

I am running a 50k next month with some buddies in OR and need to get some miles and elevation in so I got 19 done last weekend in Auburn on the trails.  It was a good run with amazing views that almost made the 5 am wake up call worth it! 

Rogue Marathon

I finally ran another marathon and it felt great! I met up with Logan in Medford, OR this past weekend and we ran the Rogue Marathon.  It was a great course and I ended up finishing at 3:41!  I was pretty pleased with my time and I am looking for the next race now. 

American River Parkway Half Marathon

I finally gave in and ran another race this past weekend.  Gavin and I ran the Parkway Half Marathon and it was a great race along the river. The weather was nice, not too crowded of a run and I got the time that I was shooting for, 1 hour and 45 minutes! It felt good to race again!

Eugene Half Marathon

Last weekend I ran the half marathon down south in Eugene, OR.  My buddy from Portland ran the full marathon and since I signed up later than him, I just ran the half.   It was a great race and the weather was perfect.  I ended up finishing at 1 hour 48 minutes.  I stared to walk back and meet my buddy and ended up running the last few miles with him as well.  It was a great day to run and see many others out there as well.  We also had a little time to explore Springfield and the college campus in Eugene.

BYU Indoor Track Meet @ UW

My little sister Natalie had another indoor track meet at UW last weekend so we spent some time in Seattle cheering her on.  The kiddos always have fun cheering for her and watching the other races and events.  Plus, it's another good excuse to have anew adventure in Seattle or to explore more of the UW campus.

UW Track Meet

My little sister Natalie happened to be running at the Regional Indoor Track Meet for BYU the same weekend that we blessed Rosie so we got to see her run as well.  It was fun.  My cousin Angela also competed in 2 different events as well.  We had fun watching them compete and we stopped by the Fremont Troll on the way home as well.  What a fun weekend!

UW Indoor Track Meet

Last weekend my little sister Natalie had a track meet at UW in Seattle.  We drove up to watch her run where she did great.  She got to come home with us too and spend the weekend with us, it was awesome!  The kiddos loved having aunt Nat around too.  They played games, read, and had a great time.
