Donuts

It was a cold Saturday night and we just got home from the kiddos friends birthday party right before 5 pm.  It was already dark, yet we didn't want to call it a night, so we thought, DONUTS!  We packed back up in the car and headed to one of our favorite donut shops in town.  They sell their donuts half off after 5 pm!  It's a great deal.  We arrived at 5:15 pm and they were already closed because they had sold out, we were bummed, so we headed to the number 2 shop on our list.  They were also closed, so we ended up at Krispy Kreme Donuts and it was a hit with the kids.  Their donuts are good, nothing to rave about, but good.  How they make them on the other hand, that's a different story, especially for the kids.  They loved watching the donuts go through the grease, get their icing, etc... It was a very eventful Saturday night.  How do you spend your Saturday nights?
