Every time we go to Chambers Bay, the kiddos see all of the locks at the end of the bridge. They always want to bring some and we always forget, etc...... So last week, we went to the store just for locks and bought 2 of them. T and D both colored on them with sharpies and we wrote their names on them. We walked all the way down to the end of the bridge, let the kiddos pick the spot where they wanted to hang them, and then I helped them lock them on and then they got to throw the keys into the water and we watched them sink into the Puget Sound. It was a cool and fun experience. Now every time we go, we can see out locks there and hopefully they don't think that it's a normal thing to throw keys in the water, ha!
