I got an awesome deal on one of those fancy Ninja blenders, so a few weeks ago I started making morning smoothies and they are AMAZING!! Seriously, the wifey and the kiddos drink them daily.
Now I don't really follow any recipe or anything, I just wing it and it usually takes pretty good. I always use spinach or kale, carrots and celery. Then I add in whatever fruit I have around that day. I have tried, oranges, bananas, apples, kiwis, mangoes, blue berries, strawberries, raspberries and more. I then add ice, coconut water and a small tablespoon of coconut oil. I throw in a little more water and blend the crap out of it. Then I drink away. I usually drink around 32 ounce each morning and some days I am craving one by mid afternoon. Give this a try if want to start eating more fruits and veggies, and the kids will drink it too, so that is a bonus!
