Cafe Rio is in WA!!

When I heard the BIG news last month, I knew we had to take advantage.  The BIG news is that there is a Café Rio in the state of Washington now!  It just happens to be a 2.5 hour drive from our house, ha!  Needless to say, last Saturday, we loaded up the kiddos early and we took off to Wenatchee, WA for the day. 
We arrived at Café Rio a little after 11 am and enjoyed an amazing lunch with sweet pork salads and burritos, while the kids chowed down on quesadillas and chips and salsa.  There was another young Mormon couple there that drive the same distance that we did, ha.  The other good news is that they next one opening in WA will be in Bellevue, which is a lot closer to us and also very close to the Seattle Temple.
Since we drove 2.5 hours to get there we spend the rest of the day exploring Wenatchee and we even headed into Leavenworth too.  That may be another post.  We played at Lake Wenatchee, threw rocks in the lake, played Frisbee, walked around and enjoyed the sunshine.  We stopped at a local fruit stand and had a fun little road trip. 
Thank you Café Rio for finally coming to WA.  It feels good to taste that sweet pork again.  It was totally worth the drive.
