Here is a synopsis of our day yesterday. I will spare you most of the details. So we got to the hospital a little after 10:30 am yesterday. They started the pitocin around 11:15 am. Contractions started and around 2 pm. Nurses and our Dr. were in and out all afternoon. Around the next hour they wifey had the epidural and the Dr. broke her water. We thought things would speed along from here, but they didn't. We waited and around 7:30 pm, after the nurses shift change they checked and it was time to start for the wifey to start pushing!! The Dr. rushed in and a short while later we were holding baby D and were in love!!
I forget how small and delicate the newborns are. Baby D just loves to be cuddled and I get soo hot when I hold her but wouldn't have it any other way. We are so in love and know it's going to be a good V-Day! Happy lovers day to all!!
