A New Year's Weekend

I love having an extra day off work.  That is what last weekend was for me.  I feel like we have a teenager son too.  We kept him up pretty late a few nights and he sure slept in!  It was nice, really nice.  On Saturday T got up at 11:30 am and on New year's Day (Sunday) we didn't make any noise until 10:30 am, it was glorious! 

On New Year's Eve we had a nice dinner with some friends and just relaxed, talked and watched a movie to ring in the new year.  Our church is now in the afternoon, which cuts into out nap time, but means we can sleep in a little. 

On Monday we headed to downtown Salt Lake City to see the Temple and the Museums.  They have tons of kid stuff to do and T loved it.  I highly recommend it.  We grabbed some lunch with friends downtown, ran a few errands and then watched the Bachelor that night with some friends.  That's right, Monday evenings will be crazy now, ha ha!! 

So here's to 2012, a new good year!
