We spent some time running and hiking along the Truckee River this past weekend and it felt great to be outside exploring again!

Cousin Fun

We spend a couple nights in Reno with all of the cousins and they played and played nonstop! So fun to have all of the Challis cousins together for the holiday weekend.

Weekend in Reno

We had a fun weekend in Reno with family.  Spent time at the park, on the trails, church, good food and playing non stop at grandma's house.

Nevada State Capitol in Carson City

We were headed to Carson City to watch Tommy and Reno High play in the Regional Basketball Conference.  It was an intense game and they ended up winning so they are going to the state tournament this weekend in Las Vegas!  Before the game we stopped at the Nevada State Capitol and walked around the grounds and even got into the capitol.  However, we were quickly asked to leave since they were ' not open' at that time.  We still had a great time there and checked off seeing another state capitol off of our list.

Emerald Bay, Lake Tahoe

Last weekend we were headed to Carson City/Reno and we made a pit stop at Emerald Bay.  It was well worth it.  The snow, the lake and the views were perfect!
