We have a 3 year old

Our little toddler T turned 3 last weekend!  Of course his birthday was the weekend that we were moving in our new house.  We tried to make is special for him though.  We got our beds together the first night so we had somewhere to sleep, and I blew up a ton of balloons to put in his room so he would be excited when he woke up.  Well my idea worked, he loved the balloons and still does.  He plays with them all day everyday while at home. 

He had his 'happy cereal' (lucky charms) for breakfast, and then helped as we unloaded the rest of the moving truck. We had planned to go to the pumpkin patch later that day, but all of the rain stopped us from going, so we ran errands to Costco, Home Depot and Safeway. (Which are all within 2 miles of our house!) That night we had a big dinner, funfetti cake and let T open his birthday presents. It was simple and perfect, and T was very pleased.
