The Color Code-What Color Are You?

While in college I took a random class.  I don't even remember what it is called, but we had the opportunity to read The Color Code book and I loved it!  It finally gave me an explanation of my past and why I did all the random and weird things.  It was because I was almost 100% yellow, it all made sense!  Now some of you may be confused by all of this, but I was the type of random person who would just take off and drive to the beach in CA because I wanted to be there.  I didn't think about the fact that I didn't even have a job, which means no gas money to get there, or the fact that I would miss my classes.  I would just do what I wanted to do and didn't worry about anything else.  It was a fun lifestyle, but eventually needed to change.

There is a basic test that you take and it determines what color you are.  Either a white, yellow, red or blue. I was obviously a yellow and most of my close friends were too.  We were carefree and were always looking for something fun.  After doing this test and buying the book I took it everywhere that semester and gave the test to everyone to see what color they were and how we connected, etc....

So here is a little breakdown of each color.

WHITE - Peace makers.  They are calm and balanced.  They are generally kind and are good listeners.

YELLOW - Fun.  Fun is what motivates them and they enjoy living in the moment.

RED - Power.  They like to get things done and don't let others stop them.  They are responsible leaders.

BLUE -  Intimacy.  These are the do-gooders that may be emotional and have quality relationships.

I took the test again recently and am still yellow, but not as much, maybe only 50% now.  And I have adapted into other colors too.  It said this about me:

"YELLOWS are motivated by Fun. They are inviting and embrace life as a party that they're hosting. They love playful interaction and can be extremely sociable. They are highly persuasive and seek instant gratification. yellows need to be adored and praised. While yellows are carefree, they are sensitive and highly alert to others' agendas to control them. yellows typically carry within themselves the gift of a good heart...."

Go HERE if you want to take the test (you have to give an email address to get the results) and see what you are, or you can always buy the book and get better descriptions of each attribute that is in correlation with your specific color. Try it out, you will not be disappointed.

I took this years ago and I was all red and yellow. There is another personality test I bet you'd be into that gives you a 4 letter combination. It is about 70 questions long but is really exact with the results! I can find out what it's called if you're interested.

Blue and White. I remember you were yellow and a little white right? This took over our lives at the dollhouse.

Just took it again. 64% red. Big surprise. A ton of yellow after that and a sliver of blue. Not an ounce of white; again, no surprise. Fun!
