Weekend Hike

We spend Saturday up in the mountains and had a great time. We hiked around Donner Lake and the old train tunnels.  The weather was nice and cool and the views were awesome as well. 

Ski Day with Grandpa Dave

The kiddos had another great ski day with their Grandpa Dave last weekend.  He spent the weekend with us and had a great time! Rosie is getting better this year and made her way down the entire hill on her own.  The older kiddos are getting better too and are starting to practice more on their turns.  It sure is fun to ski this often and I am happy I got season passes this year! We finished the day off with meeting Natalie and baby Dean at Ikeda's for burgers, fries and shakes for dinner.  What a good day!

Snowflower Camping

After our hike and swim, we went to 5 different campgrounds to find a site, and they were all full.  We ended up finding a site at an RV resort and it was awesome!  We had a great campsite, it wasn't crowded at all and we had access to a private lake, pool,playground and other fun games!  It ended up being a great camping trip and the kiddos already want to go back!

Lake Tahoe

We also spent some time at Lake Tahoe to beat the heat!  The temps were in the mid 80's and it felt great to cool off in the cooler blue water of Lake Tahoe! Baby Dean loves the water and will just run right in with no fear.  He is all over the place these days, trying to keep up with his older siblings.
