One Year Older and Wiser Too

I celebrated another birthday earlier this week, it was a good day!  My staff took me to lunch, we had cake with all of the admin offices then I headed home to a pizza + salad dinner with the wifey and kiddos and we topped off the night with cake, cookies, rice krispy treats and a couple presents.  It was the perfect way to spend the day!  My kiddos were so excited about it as well, they love a good party and had fun getting balloons and decorations for the house, including party hats!  I got new running shoes and ended the day with a 3 mile run around the neighborhood trails.  I am feeling old, but grateful for me people and my wonderful life here in CA.
