Gobble Gobble

Happy Thanksgiving friends and family! We had a great day yesterday. It started off early. Our kiddos are not into sleeping in lately, not cool. Any way, I mowed the lawn that morning in the wet cold air, then we started prepping for the feast.

One of my college buddies came over with his wife and kids and we had an awesome day. We cooked our first turkey and we were successful. We ate a great turkey, with stuffing, mashed potatoes and gravy, a yummy green salad, rolls, green bean casserole, and jello. We really made a great meal and the kiddos had a great time playing.

Hooray for a successful feast with good friends. We missed the family, but had a memorable Thanksgiving.
