Sacrament meeting is filled with toys, books, food, fruit snacks, juice, etc..... and he won't last the whole time. Which is fine, I get it. But you would think that in Nursery, he would be begging to go in there. They have cool toys, there are other kids, they feed them good snacks and you get to go on a walk. That all seems pretty appealing to me.
Last week, we met the official Nursery leaders in our new ward and they are great! We have been off and on since we moved in because of family things and going out of town. But the leaders (a lovely couple) said they won't bring the toddler to their parents if they are just crying and are whiny. This way, the toddler will have to deal with it and make the best of it. They said it usually takes a few weeks, but before you know it they are comfortable in nursery and are ok with their new surroundings and the other children. Some of the leaders run to the parents when the kid makes a little cry or whimper. These leaders have it down and know what they are doing, so thank you! Now I can go to EQ and the wifey can relax in RS and we can participate in Sunday School.
Here's to nursery (high five) and hoping that every week gets better.

PS- Don't forget to feed the fishies, who are now on the left side!
Oooh- excited to hear how it goes. Nursery's been tough around here too. We're going to our new church tomorrow, where there are much fewer babies. I'm hoping that makes a difference.... We'll see....
