he will be missed

our dear grandpa hawkins passed away yesterday with a few of his children by his side.  he was such an honorable man.  he will be missed by all, but i am sure that he is glad to be with his sweetheart vela again!
thank goodness for the gospel and all of the blessings that it brings into our lives. 

grandpa was an honorable marine who was at pearl harbor and experienced so much in his lifetime.  he was a great example and raised an awesome family.  i have so many good memories of grandpa on the farm and telling the greatest cowboy stories to the grandchildren.

he always told me, that i was lucky enough to get someone as pretty as natalie, and i think he was right.  we use to visit him in provo while we were dating and he would always make us laugh. 

at least we can see some of the cousins at the funeral this saturday before we hear out east to denver, co. 
you will be missed grandpa h. 


in other news, the you tube party was a huge success last night!  we had good popcorn, treats, candy and homemade root beer.  thanks to all who came and participated.  we will for sure be doing this again next summer.  i will get some pics from monica and post them soon.
