well we were some of the lucky ones who had no power last night. it finally came on around 10:30 pm. i was out home teaching and nat left to pick up some dinner, and get a few items from the grocery store. then we ended up at my parents house to eat pizza and some tv. we missed our shows last night too, ha! american idol and glee, but we did manage to see the good wife.
luckily, we purchased a real flash light a few weeks ago and we have a few candles in the house. we are really only somewhat prepared, just in case there really was an emergency. maybe it was a wake up call to get things together, maybe. either way, we will be purchasing more candles and some extra food storage to have, just in case. you probably should too.
