Family and Friends Gathering

The  night before the funeral we held a gathering/visitation.   Friends and loved ones had send tons of flowers and we put out bowls of Mary's favorite candies.  We displayed pictures of Mary and her family and had a great time remembering her and her life.  Before Mary passed all of her grand kids would give her pictures that they all drew.  She had them posted all around her bedroom for her last weeks of her life.  We took all of the pictures and hung them up at the visitation and the funeral as well.  It was a little thing that meant a lot to her and the family.  It was a beautiful evening.
