We have spent the last couple days in the hospital with baby T. He had a little cough a few days ago, and then he got a fever and was whiny and grouchy and was not acting like himself at all. He was having difficulty breathing too. We kept an close eye on him and Natalie ended up taking him to the Dr. on Tuesday morning while I was at work. They ran some tests there, did the breathing machine and ended up going to the hospital to run further tests and see what was going on with him.
After getting the results, it looks like he has pneumonia, which is a total bummer! The poor little guy has all sorts of cords all over him now and just hates not being able to move all around and play. We just have to hold him and watch him suffer, it's a hard thing to do. His chest is pumping up and down as he tries to breathe. He is now on an IV and they put some antibiotics in with the IV and tried to give him some other antibiotics orally (but he kept throwing them up). Finally he kept them down and was able to get a little sleep last night. Natalie is the greatest Mom and should get an award! I am sure she is just as exhausted as he is, but keeps going strong.
Just look at that face, the poor little guy! He is a such a trooper. Keep him in you thoughts and prayers and hopefully he can come home soon!
