do you ever wonder where all of those bags of leaves go that everyone in slc leaves on their curbs? well i did too and apparently they are all being dumped in a huge vacant lot off of redwood road & about 900 south. i randomly came across them this afternoon as i was running an errand for my boss. i am glad that i know this now, and i can finally sleep at night.

For some reason I imagined them taking them out of the bags before storing them somewhere. Maybe that is just a temporary spot until they recycle the bags and take the leaves to greenwaste?
that is true. i will keep an eye on them to see if anything changes.
